Highly recommend! - I initially found Kashmir walks while looking for heritage walks and then their page popped up on my Instagram Explore. Being avid travellers, my husband and I usually curate our... read more trips ourselves. But after talking to Usman, we were convinced in his ability to curate something to our liking. Usman not only planned our trip to Srinagar, Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Gulmarg and gave us suitable advice on what travel is achievable with a toddler, he ensured that the accomodation in each place was as per our specific requirements. Within Srinagar, he organised a shikara ride, houseboat and wazwan experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The cherry on top was his guided walk which showed his passion for the valley and effort he put into research. He gave us a real insight into the lives of craftsmen and shopkeepers in the valley. It's not to be missed!

Our Heritage Tour on a rainy day was enjoyable with a number of food stops en route. Usman is very knowledgeable with his facts and history, and tailer made our itinerary.

The highlight was the 4 hour Craft Tour with a visit to artisnal shops and homes, which enabled us to make several purchases at very attractive prices.

We highly recommend Usmanbhai for first time and repeat tourists to Kashmir as he is the Best....

Crafts walking tour - The crafts walking tour organised by Kashmir walks was amazing. We visited the homes of the artisans and saw the procedures.

Outstanding - Usman gave us an excellent insight into Kashmiri history, religion, and arts and crafts. He is exceedingly well connected with master craftsmen.

Wonderful trip to Kashmir - all thanks to Usman - We spent 6 wonderful days in Srinagar/Kashmir and engaging Usman bhai for planing the trip was the best decision we made. It was somewhat of a last minute decision to... read more visit Kashmir and the weather played tricks as well, but Usman bhai was always prepared with alternate options and never let us feel that we had to compromise.

We also did the heritage walk as well the craft tour with him and both were an eye opener. If you are looking to buy local art and craft products, the crafts tour is an absolute must do.

We are already thinking of another trip to Kashmir and will definitely reach out to him for planning the same.

Usman is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and took us to places, which were absolutely stunning! We visited:
- Jama Masjid
- Khanquah e Maula
- Badshah tomb
- The spice market, Gada kocha, Zaina Kadal
- Had a vegetarian Wazwan lunch at Eidgah (at an artisan’s home). The artisan also took us through the process of how pashmina shawls are made - visited a loom
- Walked through the alleys where chefs cook the Wazwan
- Visited an artisan family - they’ve received 4 national awards for their craft!
- Visited a paper mache artisan’s workshop
- And to top it all, Usman took us to Moon Light, the walnut fudge shop - delicious, and very moreish!

The pace was perfect, even though it was a full day tour. Usman is very affable, and we had a wonderful time, learning, exploring, and joking! Truly memorable!
